How can I make a decision about marrying a divorced Palestinian man, after I felt hesitant about him for several reasons related to his personality, his joking, and his request for pictures without a hijab, knowing that I absolutely reject the idea of divorce in the future?

A girl's keenness to choose a righteous husband and her rejection of those whose religiosity and character she does not approve of is neither a rejection of sustenance nor a violation of Islamic law. If the suitor mentioned is in the state described by the questioner, it is not advisable to rush into accepting him. Rather, she should be advised to consult the wise among her family or other righteous people, and to seek Allah's guidance (istikharah) before taking any step. It must be noted that a suitor is a stranger to his fiancée, just like any other foreign man.
