What is the solution for getting rid of the inclination towards homosexuality and the depression resulting from it, which sometimes leads to abandoning prayer and not reading the Qur'an?

To overcome the inclination towards men and the lack of desire for women, several things can be utilized:

1. Supplication and earnest prayer to Allah: To sincerely ask for well-being and healing from this affliction, for Allah is near and answers the call of the supplicant. 2. Sincere resolve and a genuine desire for treatment: For sincerity guides to righteousness and goodness. 3. Resisting satanic whispers: And not allowing them to settle in the heart, because Satan commands indecency and evil. One must strive against Satan by repelling doubts, corrupt intentions, and desires. Patience repels desires, and certainty repels doubts. 4. Recalling the punishment of the people of Lut: And remembering the evil of their deeds and their consequence, which led to their destruction, to serve as a lesson and admonition. 5. Avoiding negative influences and bad company: And keenness on righteous companionship that aids in goodness. 6. Appreciating the blessing of a wife: And thanking Allah for her by fulfilling the purposes of the Sharia concerning her, such as preserving one's chastity and that of the wife. 7. Maintaining prayer, remembrance (dhikr), and recitation of the Quran: For prayer prohibits indecency and evil, and remembrance and seeking forgiveness enlighten the heart and remove desolation and depression. For a good deed illuminates the face, enlightens the heart, and expands sustenance, while a bad deed brings darkness, gloom, and deficiency.
