A woman's heart becoming attached to a man is a tribulation, an expiation for her sins, and an elevation of her rank if she remains patient, fears God, and does not fall into what is forbidden. This is based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Calamity continues to afflict the believing man and woman in their person, children, and wealth until they meet God with no sin upon them." She must strive to turn her heart away from thinking about him.
