Is it obligatory to obey a father and mother when they order their daughter to remove her hijab, while they themselves do not apply the commands of the Qur’an and Sunnah?

It is recommended to adhere to obedience to Allah Almighty and to wear the hijab. It is not permissible to obey parents in abandoning it, because "there is no obedience in disobedience; obedience is only in what is right." One should strive to guide their family and introduce them to the truth, show them scholarly fatwas on the matter, and frequently supplicate for their guidance.
