Is it permissible to perform Friday prayer behind imams who advocate for Sufism, or for closing mosques between prayers, or for lowering the volume of the adhan; or who deliver sermons prepared by the Department of Religious Rituals; or whose mosques have been politicized, with hypocrisy and lies becoming apparent?

It is not permissible to abandon the Friday prayer, even if the Imam is an innovator or a transgressor, because missing the Friday prayer and congregational prayers is a greater corruption. Furthermore, abstaining does not remove the corruption of the Imam. The Companions prayed behind transgressor Imams. The Salaf and Imams considered those who abandoned Friday prayers and congregational prayers behind unjust Imams to be among the people of innovation.
