What is the ruling on Friday prayer if the sermon is sectarian and contains incitement, politicization, insults, curses, and excommunication, and it is not possible to hold another Friday prayer?
If you find a preacher who does not possess the aforementioned qualities, pray behind him. If there is no one else available other than those you mentioned, do not abandon the Friday prayer for that reason, but pray behind him.
Ibn Taymiyyah said: "If the worshipper knows that the Imam is an innovator who calls to his innovation, or a manifest sinner, and he is the regular Imam behind whom prayer is only possible—such as the Imam of Jumu'ah (Friday prayer), Eid prayers, and the Imam for the Hajj prayer at Arafat, and the like—then the worshipper should pray behind him according to the general consensus of the early and later generations. This is the madhhab of Ahmad, Al-Shafi'i, Abu Hanifa, and others."
