What is your opinion of the book "Tafsir Ibn Abbas and His Narrations in Tafsir from the Books of Sunnah" by Dr. Al-Humaidi? Are the interpretations of the verses in it authentic, weak, or mixed? Can they be relied upon to understand the meanings of the verses?

This book is a doctoral thesis, unsuitable for those who wish to understand the meanings of the verses without knowledge of the fundamentals of hadith science, jurisprudence, and language. This is because it is limited to what has been narrated from Ibn Abbas in specific books.

Therefore, it is recommended to read general, clear tafsir books, such as the style of Sheikh Al-Saadi, and then to expand into larger tafsirs like those of Ibn Kathir, Al-Baghawi, and Al-Shawkani.

As for the narrations from Ibn Abbas, some are authentic, some are inauthentic, and some have disputed authenticity, depending on the conditions of authenticity in hadith science.
