What is the ruling on eating date molasses-pickled vegetables (vegetables pickled in an acidic medium with added date molasses)? Does this molasses make it impermissible if it ferments and becomes similar to intoxicants?

If the drink mentioned is an intoxicant, then it is forbidden, whether in small or large quantities, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Every intoxicant is forbidden, and whatever intoxicates in large quantities, a small quantity of it is forbidden." Imam Malik holds that grape juice, raisin water, and all types of date wine are permissible as long as they do not intoxicate. So the rule is that every intoxicant is forbidden, and whatever does not intoxicate is permissible.
