Is a woman permitted to seek divorce (talaq) or annulment (khulʿ) if her husband calls her "braz" (feces)?

It is obligatory for both spouses to treat each other with kindness, and this includes the man treating his wife well and not harming her with words or deeds, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Go to your tilth as you wish, feed her when you eat, clothe her when you clothe yourself, and do not disfigure the face, nor strike." Some scholars have stipulated that insulting and cursing one's wife is a harm that permits her to seek divorce, but it is advisable to be patient and overlook minor faults for the marriage to endure.
