Did the triple divorce occur, and is it permissible for the wife to return to her husband near the end of her waiting period?

The husband divorced his wife with three pronouncements: the first during pregnancy, the second during menstruation—which is considered valid by the majority of scholars—and the third was recorded by the ma’dhun (authorized marriage official). Consequently, the wife is unlawful for her husband until she marries another man in a valid marriage, consummates it with him, and then he divorces her. The ma’dhun's writing "first divorce" on the document has no legal effect and does not annul the preceding divorces. The occurrence of the first two pronouncements is not negated by their lack of registration. It is advisable to present the case directly to scholars.
