What should I do regarding someone who orders me to turn on devices such as the television or computer, when I suspect that he will not turn off the sound or lower his gaze if content that violates Sharia is displayed, such as music or images of unveiled women? And is it obligatory for me not to assist him based on this suspicion, or is suspicion not considered an impediment? And what is the ruling on that if the person giving the order is a relative whose request is difficult to refuse, and what is the Islamic legal proof for that? And does the Almighty's saying mean: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression" that assistance should only be in good deeds and not in evil? And what if his intention was to watch the news and music appeared and he did not turn off the sound?
