What should a young man do whose father forces him to work in programming receivers, which he considers unlawful, and he spends the money earned on the poor and his siblings?

It is forbidden to work in programming receivers if the programming is for prohibited channels. One must abandon it, even if ordered by a parent, because "there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator." However, if the programming is for Islamic and permissible channels, then there is no harm in that. And whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better and provide for him from where he does not expect.
