Is it permissible, Islamically, to receive a car other than the one for which the down payment was made, given that it is of the same type, specifications, value, and color, and without a feeling of being deceived?

There is no Shar'i (Islamic legal) impediment to a sale occurring for a car, and then the company delivering a different car with the same specifications, as long as this happened with the buyer's consent. This is because the designation of the item being sold is done by distinguishing it from others, and pointing to it while it is present in the session designates it. The seller is not permitted to give the buyer anything other than it, except with the buyer's consent.
