What is the ruling on someone who forgot a circuit of Tawaf Al-Ifadah and did not remember until after leaving the Grand Mosque?

If a pilgrim forgets a circuit in the Farewell Tawaf, and a long time has passed between them, he must repeat the Tawaf. However, if the interval was short, he only needs to perform the forgotten circuit.
