Is the Tawaf Al-Ifadah valid if one completes the remaining circuits after going to the restroom and performing ablution during the third circuit?

Purity is a condition for the validity of the Tawaf (circumambulation) according to the majority of scholars. They differed, however, regarding one who loses his wudu' (ablution) during the Tawaf: should he complete it or restart? The Hanafis and Shafi'is held that he should continue (from where he left off), while the Malikis and Hanbalis maintained that he should restart, because muwalat (continuity) between the circuits is a condition according to them. Sheikh Ibn Baz issued a fatwa that whoever loses his wudu' during Tawaf must restart it. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen was of the opinion that continuity between the circuits of Tawaf and Sa'i (the ritual walk between Safa and Marwa) is a condition. If there is a long separation, the Tawaf becomes void and must be restarted. It is often the case that going to the restrooms and performing wudu' during Hajj takes a long time, thus breaking the continuity. Therefore, if one loses his wudu' during Tawaf, it is likely that his first Tawaf became void. If he has not yet repeated the Tawaf al-Ifadah, then the Hajj is incomplete, and he must return to perform it, unless he did so based on a fatwa.
