Will one spouse enter Paradise with their partner if the latter enters it?

It is not necessary for one spouse to enter Paradise if the other does. The proof of this is the fate of the wives of Noah and Lot (peace be upon them both), who entered the Fire even though their husbands were prophets. Allah may allow the spouse of lower rank to join the spouse of higher rank in Paradise if both enter it, just as children benefit from the righteousness of their parents by having their ranks elevated with them in Paradise.
