The answer

Part of the perfection of the bliss of the people of Paradise is that Allah will unite them with their believing relatives, even if they are of a lesser rank than them, out of honor for them and to increase their joy. Imam Ibn Kathir mentioned that Allah will join the offspring with their parents in status, even if they did not attain their deeds, so that the eyes of the parents may be delighted, and the one whose deeds are deficient will be elevated by the deeds of the perfect. It was narrated from Ibn Abbas and Sa'id ibn Jubayr that a man will inquire about his family in Paradise, and it will be said that they have not reached his rank. He will then say: "O Lord, I have done deeds for me and for them," so it will be commanded that they be joined with him. This includes righteous parents, spouses, and offspring. Therefore, if your wife's mother was among the righteous and was granted a high rank in Paradise, there is no impediment for her daughter to be joined with her, if she is among the people of Paradise and of a lesser rank. A Muslim should ask Allah for the highest level of Paradise (Al-Firdaws Al-A'la).
