Will the wife of a lower rank and her husband be elevated to the rank of the wife of a higher rank in Paradise, if the wife of a higher rank strived more in this world, considering the elevation of children to the rank of their parents, or the husband to the rank of his wife, and vice versa, by the grace of Allah?

Children will be joined with their fathers in Paradise at the same rank, and a wife with her husband. The entire family will gather at the highest rank, without any decrease in their individual ranks. This is indicated by the supplication of the angels: "Our Lord, and admit them to the gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise." (Ghafir/8), and Allah's saying: "Enter Paradise, you and your spouses, in happiness." (Az-Zukhruf/70), and His saying: "Indeed, the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation - they and their spouses - in shade, on thrones, reclining." (Yasin/55-56).
