What is the ruling on saying something contrary to reality—whether it happened previously or is based on incomplete understanding—for personal gain, provided that no harm results to others?

Ma'areedh (allusions) and Tawriya (double entendre) are permissible when there is a need or a benefit, as long as they do not lead to harm or are not used as a means to falsehood. This is based on the sayings of Umar and Imran ibn Husayn: "Indeed, in Ma'areedh there is a way out of lying." They are disliked if there is no need or benefit for them, and they become forbidden if they are used to acquire something unlawfully or to deny a right. Therefore, there is no harm in using them for a need or benefit, as long as they do not involve abuse or harm to anyone.
