What is the ruling on raising the hands in prayer such that the palms are either facing each other or facing the ground, which is the view of the Malikis?

Raising the hands in prayer is a Sunnah established from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, at the beginning of the prayer (takbirat al-ihram), before bowing, and after rising from bowing, but not when rising from prostration. The manner of raising the hands is disputed among the Malikis, with three different views mentioned by Al-Dardir, Al-Dasuqi, and others. The last of these descriptions aligns with what Al-Nawawi explained.
