If your choice is a woman of wealth and religion, this is good. Considering this a marriage of convenience does no harm, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty, and for her religion. So choose the religious woman, and you will prosper." It is not a condition for the validity of the marriage to inform the girl's family about your social past; rather, it is recommended. Among the conditions for a valid marriage is that it must be based on permanence, otherwise it would be a temporary marriage (mut'ah marriage). It is permissible, according to the majority of scholars, to marry someone who intends to divorce inwardly, as long as this condition is not stipulated.
