Is the one who memorizes the Qur’an, or parts of it, immune to envy or the touch of jinn?

Memorizing the Quran, reciting it, and seeking protection through it safeguards the believing servant from harm. However, this does not mean that a memorizer of the Quran will not be afflicted by any harm. Indeed, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was afflicted by magic, and some of his Companions were affected by the evil eye. Calamity afflicts even the best of people.
