An advice to the husband to fear Allah and to live with his wife with kindness, and that companionship is not limited to financial support but also includes fulfilling psychological and emotional needs, and that a righteous wife is a blessing that deserves gratitude by treating her well. And an advice to the wife to be patient with her husband, and to constantly employ means that bring affection, such as kind words and gifts, and to cooperate in obedience to Allah, while seeking help through prayer. If she cannot be patient, she is permitted to request khul'. Patience is preferable, because separation may result in greater harm, for feelings of love are not a prerequisite for the stability of married life.
