ما الفرق بين معاني أسماء الله الحسنى: الخالق، البارئ، المصور؟

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The difference between "Al-Khaliq" (the Creator), "Al-Bari'" (the Maker/Initiator), and "Al-Musawwir" (the Fashioner) is that "Al-Khalq" (creation) refers to pre-ordainment or estimation, while "Al-Bar'" (making/initiating) refers to the execution and bringing into existence of what was pre-ordained. Not everyone who pre-ordains something is able to execute it, except Allah. "Al-Musawwir" (the Fashioner) is the One who executes what He wishes to bring into existence with the specific characteristic and form that He chooses, as in His saying: "Into whatever form He willed has He assembled you."
