A wife must obey her husband if he calls her to bed, and she is not permitted to refuse except for a legitimate Shar'i excuse, such as illness, menstruation, or an obligatory fast. A lack of desire for intercourse is not an excuse, and in this case, the husband may compel her to intercourse without injustice. There is no harm in marrying another woman, provided one has the ability to do so and can be just in providing lodging and the obligatory financial support. It is advisable to communicate with the wife to understand the reasons for her reluctance to engage in intimacy and to address them.
