What is the ruling on reciting the Qur’an during bowing (Ruku') and prostration (Sujud), and what is the ruling on the prayer of one who prays behind an Imam who does so?

It is forbidden to recite the Quran during bowing (rukuk) and prostration (sujud). If a worshipper does so, their recitation is disliked, but their prayer remains valid. If a congregant doubts whether the imam omitted glorification (tasbih) in bowing and prostration, the default assumption is that the imam performed it. If the imam intentionally or forgetfully omits it, their prayer is still valid, as glorification in these positions is sunnah (recommended) and not obligatory.
