Are gifts given to the mosque's khatib inside the mosque his exclusive right, or do the mosque's employees share them with him?

Some gifts are permissible and encouraged, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Exchange gifts, and you will love one another." There is no harm for your husband in benefiting from the gift his friend presented to him inside the mosque, unless its owner makes it clear that it is not exclusively for him but for all mosque workers. The mere fact that the gift is inside the mosque does not mean it is for those working there; rather, it is for the person to whom it was gifted, especially if there was a prior relationship and exchange of gifts between the husband and his friend, unless the giver explicitly states that it is for all workers.
