Is it permissible for a young man to define his eyebrow with a laser due to its thickness and its effect on his appearance, and is it permissible for him to completely remove his beard with a laser because it is unsuitable and causes him discomfort and a psychological state?

We have previously clarified that plucking eyebrow hair is Islamically forbidden for both men and women, unless it disfigures one's appearance, in which case one may remove only what remedies the disfigurement. Similarly, shaving the beard for men is Islamically forbidden and contradicts the hadiths that command letting the beard grow and be full. There is a reported consensus on this matter. Ibn Hazm and Ibn al-Qaṭṭān said: "They agreed that shaving the entire beard is a mutilation that is impermissible." Letting the beard grow is part of the Prophet's ﷺ guidance, and it is an adornment for men. Some recent scientific studies have also proven that the beard has numerous health benefits.
