Is it permissible to go to a women's institution affiliated with a church to learn Arabic, given the presence of a picture (of a person) in the place?

A woman is permitted to seek worldly knowledge if her attendance adheres to Sharia-compliant regulations, such as wearing the hijab and avoiding free mixing.

It is not permissible to enter places that contain revered images, whether drawn or photographic. It is highly probable that the images in churches and their affiliated associations are for veneration. The Prophetic Sunnah and the narrations from the Companions indicate the prohibition of entering a place where there are images.

Therefore, it is advisable not to go to the aforementioned institution and to seek another means of learning the language that does not involve a violation of Sharia.
