Is it true that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to take his wife with him to banquets, and that he would not go if she was not also invited?

The hadith in Sahih Muslim from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) confirms that the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not accept the invitation of his Persian neighbor until the latter agreed to invite Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) along with him.
