What are the prohibited times for prayer, and is it permissible to perform the two rak'ahs of supererogatory prayer mentioned in the noble Hadith five or ten minutes before sunrise?

The times when it is forbidden to pray supererogatory (nafila) prayers are five: from after the Fajr prayer until the sun rises to the height of a spear (i.e., fifteen minutes after its sunrise), when the sun is rising until it has fully risen, when the sun is at its zenith until it begins to decline, from after the Asr prayer until the sun sets, and when the sun is inclining towards setting until it has completely set. At these times, absolute supererogatory prayers are disliked. However, prayers that have a specific reason are permissible. It is not permissible to offer the two rak'ahs of sunrise prayer before the sun has risen.
