What are the disliked times for prayer based on ordinary clock time (after the Asr adhan, and ten minutes before Dhuhr), rather than on the movement of the sun?
The times when it is forbidden to pray supererogatory (nafl) prayers were clarified in no. 49369, along with the specifying them and the wisdom behind the prohibition. The times of prohibition between the appearance of dawn and sunrise, and between the Asr prayer and sunset, are not regulated by hours and minutes due to their variation with differences in time and place, and they are clear by two apparent signs. As for the sun's rising, which ends the time of prohibition, it is estimated at approximately fifteen minutes, and the sun's culmination in the middle of the sky is estimated at ten minutes before Dhuhr, all of which are approximations.
