Is the meat brought by Awf ibn Malik from Al-Jazour considered unlawful, and why?

The mentioned story is weak and its chain of narration is not authentic. And the butcher taking his wage from the meat of the slaughtered animal is not permissible according to a group of scholars, due to ignorance of the quality of the meat and the impermissibility of the wage being a part that results from the laborer's work, like the Hadith of "the miller's qafiz" regarding which scholars differed concerning its authenticity. As for the Udhiyah (sacrifice) and Hady (offering), it is not permissible to give the butcher his wage from them, due to the explicit text to that effect in the Hadith of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "And I would not give the butcher from it," and he said: "We would give him from our own."
