Does God's saying: "And We shall gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind" apply to someone who memorized a large portion of the Quran but then forgot it before reaching puberty in middle school?

Whoever memorizes the Qur'an should constantly review it so that it does not slip away from him. Some scholars have gone so far as to say that forgetting the Qur'an is a major sin, citing as evidence traditions, among them what Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi narrated from the hadith of Anas, مرفوعًا (traced back to the Prophet): "The sins of my Ummah were presented to me, and I did not see a sin greater than a surah from the Qur'an which a man was given, then he forgot it." Also, the Almighty's saying: "And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is because of what your hands have earned." As for the Almighty's saying: "And We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind," this refers to turning away from the remembrance of Allah and disobeying His commands. If the forgetting of the Qur'an occurs before puberty, its perpetrator is not included in the aforementioned warning, because the pen is lifted from the child until he reaches puberty.
