Intercession in human dealings is divided into permissible and impermissible. The first type is good intercession, which is to help someone obtain their right without injustice. This is what the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said about it: "Intercede, and you will be rewarded, and Allah will decree through the tongue of His Prophet whatever He wills." As for the second type, it is intercession in an unlawful matter or one that involves injustice. Both types are encompassed by the words of Allah Almighty: "Whoever intercedes with a good intercession will have a share from it, and whoever intercedes with an evil intercession will have a burden from it. And Allah is over all things a Maintainer." Therefore, there is no harm in seeking an intercessor to obtain your right, and there is no objection to gaining financial benefit due to retirement if the right is guaranteed by regulations and the method of obtaining it is lawful.
