What is the ruling on placing pictures of designed or drawn ships, such as pirate images and their logos, and do they constitute an imitation of something?

There is no harm in pictures of ships and inanimate objects. As for pictures of pirates, they are not permissible if they are complete, but they are permissible if they are incomplete in a way that prevents life.
