What is the ruling on money earned from working as an agent for live streaming applications that include forbidden content and intermingling, and how can this money, mixed with lawful money, be purified, knowing the difficulty in distinguishing between them and the need for it to cover marriage expenses?
It is not permissible to earn income from applications predominantly featuring content such as music, intermingling, and communication between genders, based on the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, when He prohibits the consumption of something, He also prohibits its price." And his saying: "May Allah curse the Jews; fat was forbidden to them, so they sold it and consumed its price. Indeed, Allah, when He prohibits something, He prohibits its price."
As for money earned from these applications before one became aware of their impermissibility, the earner may spend it on themselves as long as they are in need of it.
