Red magic is mentioned in books of sorcerers, and it may be a type of magic. Magic, in all its forms, is among the destructive acts and major sins. Allah Almighty said: "And the sorcerer will not succeed wherever he goes" and "And the sorcerers will not succeed." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade magic, listing it among the seven destructive sins. Therefore, a Muslim must keep away from it and from its practitioners.
