What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding the behavior of a husband who reprimands his wife in front of their daughter, but does not reprimand their daughter when she lies to the wife and raises her voice at her? And what are the wife's rights in this situation?

Islamic law commands spouses to treat each other with kindness, which includes each fulfilling the other's rights. Among the wife's rights upon her husband is that he protect her from his daughter's harm, in accordance with the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Support your brother whether he is an oppressor or oppressed." If his daughter lives with the couple, then the wife has the right to a separate dwelling provided by the husband.
