Is it permissible to take butter from milk that is left to be sold?

Selling milk with reduced foam, butterfat, or cream without informing the buyer is considered forbidden deception. If the butterfat is desired, it is not permissible to reduce it without clarification, as this constitutes aiding in forbidden deception, according to the Almighty’s saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." If the butterfat does not affect the value of the milk, it is not permissible to take the "fararah" (cream/butterfat layer) except with the explicit or customary permission of the husband. However, if the husband clarifies the reality of the milk's reduction to the buyers and permits his wife, then there is no sin upon her for reducing the butterfat.
