What is the ruling on churning camel milk and extracting butter from it?

"Al-makhd" is the process of extracting butter from milk. We are not aware of any scholar who has prohibited the churning of milk and the extraction of its butter. The basic principle regarding such matters is permissibility. Therefore, whoever prohibits something must provide evidence; otherwise, they would be attributing falsehoods to Allah without knowledge. Allah Almighty says: (O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allah has made lawful for you, and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors) (Al-Ma'idah: 87). And Allah Almighty says: (And do not say about what your tongues falsely describe, "This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent a lie against Allah. Indeed, those who invent a lie against Allah will not succeed A brief enjoyment, and for them is a painful punishment) (An-Nahl: 116-117).
