There is no contradiction between the two hadiths because their subjects differ. Jabir's speaks about approaching the vagina from the back, which is permissible. As for Abu Hurairah's hadith, it curses whoever approaches his wife in the anus itself, which is forbidden by the majority of the Salaf and Khalaf, and the majority of the imams.
