Will the deceased husband benefit from an ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah) such as the use of his bed, car, and television, and will the users benefit from it?

May God have mercy on the husband. His estate must be divided, with the wife receiving one-fourth and the remaining portion going to the relatives. Charity given on behalf of the husband reaches him, whether it comes from the wife's estate or other sources, and whether it is given to his brothers or others. If the brothers are in need and one gives them charity from the husband's estate with the intention that the reward of the charity be for him, it will benefit him. The deceased benefits when his heirs are left wealthy, and he is rewarded for that. The deceased does not bear sin if the heirs use his estate for unlawful matters. However, it is not permissible to enable the brothers to watch what is forbidden on television, and sin befalls anyone who is able to prevent it but does not.
