Do the angels surround the reciter of the Quran, and what is the benefit of their presence or absence?

It is authentically established in the sound Hadith that angels were present to listen to the recitation of some Companions, which indicates their presence for the recitation of the Qur'an. Imam al-Bukhari titled a chapter regarding this as "Chapter: The Descent of Tranquility (Sakina) and Angels upon the Recitation of the Qur'an." The presence of angels is an indication of the descent of blessings, mercy, and tranquility, and the departure of devils. Tranquility always descends with angels. The house in which the Qur'an is recited is attended by angels, and devils depart from it; it expands for its inhabitants and its goodness increases. As for the house in which the Qur'an is not recited, devils attend it, and angels depart from it; it constricts for its inhabitants and its goodness diminishes.
