When do the angels descend upon people, and what does a person benefit from that?

Angels descend when the Quran is recited, during gatherings of remembrance (dhikr), and during the Fajr and Asr prayers. This brings about mercy and forgiveness, tranquility and peace, an abundance of sustenance and blessings in it, and the expulsion of devils. Furthermore, angels surround gatherings of remembrance and Quranic circles, and Allah forgives those participating in them. As for the house in which the Quran is recited, angels attend it and devils depart from it, and it expands for its inhabitants and its goodness increases, unlike the house in which the Quran is not recited.
