How can one get rid of parental disobedience, given the presence of irritability in both parties?

Disobeying one's parents is among the greatest major sins, and Allah may hasten the punishment for the disobedient child in this world before the Hereafter. Allah has not specified a particular type of punishment for the disobedient child. Their recompense may be of the same nature as their deed, such as having their own children be disobedient to them, or Allah may punish them as He wills, or He may forgive them. A Muslim must avoid disobedience and show kindness to their parents.
