Is it permissible to fast two consecutive months as expiation for accidental killing if the month of Ramadan intervenes?

We advise you to fast to expiate unintentional killing after Ramadan and Eid have passed, to avoid the differing opinion of those who consider the interposition of Ramadan and Eid as breaking the continuity, even though the preponderant opinion is that continuity is not broken by their interposition. If obligatory fasting, obligatory breaking of the fast, or permissible breaking of the fast interpose, then continuity is not broken.
