Will the husband be able to exact his right from the one who committed adultery with his wife on the Day of Resurrection, by analogy with the right of the slain from his killer?

The husband has a right over the fornicator that he will exact from him on the Day of Resurrection, just as he has a right over whoever killed him or took his money. It is not said to the fornicator: seek absolution from the husband, because that entails great corruption. Rather, it is said to him: repent to Allah Almighty, and humble yourself before Him that He may appease the husband on the Day of Resurrection. And increase in supplication and seeking forgiveness for the husband and giving charity on his behalf.
