"What is meant by 'Is this ?' is not clear. If what is meant is the husband's command to undergo a procedure for conception, then obedience to him is not obligatory because obedience to the husband is in what is good and lawful, and rulings are based on what is customary. If what is meant is his threat to marry a third wife, then he has the right to do so if he is capable of being just, but the threat of marriage should not be used as a whip; this contradicts the good companionship enjoined in the Quran and ."
