Adultery is a grave sin and is forbidden by Allah and His Messenger. Its worldly punishment can reach stoning to death for the married fornicator. Nevertheless, the door of repentance is open for sinners. Whoever repents with sincere repentance before the door of repentance closes, Allah accepts their repentance and forgives their sins, even if it was Shirk. As for her marriage, it is valid if she has had a menstrual period after the adultery or if she has given birth to her child if she became pregnant through adultery.
